<\/p>\n
The Bible gives some specific instructions to follow in order to become a Christian, or in order to be born again. Look at Romans 10:8-11:
\n\u201c[8] But what does it say? \u201cThe word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,\u201d that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: [9] If you declare with your mouth, \u201cJesus is Lord,\u201d and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. [11] \u00a0 As Scripture says, \u201cAnyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jesus said, \u201cWhoever comes to me I will never drive away\u201d (John 6:37). \u00a0 No matter what kind of sinner you are, no matter what you have done, you can go to Jesus and He will accept you<\/b>. \u00a0 Once you go to Him, then He will cause you to be born again. \u00a0 He will re-create you, and that sin which has been plaguing you will be a thing of the past. \u00a0 It will be gone. \u00a0 You will be accepted before God as if you have never sinned!<\/b><\/p>\n
To be born again, you use your mouth and you use your heart. \u00a0 First, you believe in your heart that God\u2019s Word is true. \u00a0 Then you confess it with your mouth because you believe it.<\/p>\n
Say this prayer for salvation. \u00a0 \u00a0 Make a conscious effort to speak these words from the very depths of your heart. \u00a0 When you finish this prayer, you will be born again.<\/p>\n
Dear God in Heaven, in the Name of Jesus, I present myself to You.<\/p>\n
I pray and ask Jesus to be Lord over my life.<\/p>\n
I believe it in my heart, so I say it with my mouth: \u201cJesus has been raised from the dead.\u201d \u00a0 This moment, I make Him the Lord over my life.<\/p>\n
Jesus, come into my heart. \u00a0 I believe this moment that I am saved, I say it now: \u201cI am reborn. \u00a0 I am a Christian. \u00a0 I am a child of Almighty God.\u201d \u00a0 Thank you, Heavenly Father, for making me your child!<\/p>\n
Colossians 1:12-14 NIV
\n[12] and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. [13] For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, [14] in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.<\/p>\n
